1. What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is four weeks/one calendar month, but we only require two weeks notice that you wish to leave.

2. Do I need to put down a deposit?
We do not ask for a deposit but we do ask for the first four weeks/calendar month payment before or on the first day of your rental period.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I have been very impressed with your facilities and would recommend your services to others who may be in need of storage in the future.
3. Do you provide insurance?
We do not provide insurance for your goods so you will need to take out your own cover.
4. Do I have to sign an agreement?
We have an agreement which includes our terms and conditions. Both parties to sign which offers protection for us and you as our valued customer.
5. What can I store in the unit?
Most goods can be stored but there are some items which we cannot allow for legal or health and safety reasons. These are listed in our terms and conditions.
Thank you for your help and the facility provided by 'Valley Self Storage'. I would have no hesitation in recommending the facility or using your storage again should the need arise.
6. Is it easy to access the storage unit?
We are open from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, but you can access at other times within reason, just arrange it with us, we live on site.
Our belongings have come out of the unit as dry and fresh as they went in after 4 years!
7. Do I need a padlock?
By providing your own padlock or purchasing a new one from us you are the only key holder. Our smaller units have their own keys and double locking doors.
8. Is there a place to park my car? Will an articulated removal lorry have room to manoeuvre?
We have ample parking and you can drive to, or very close to, the doors of most of our units. There is room for an articulated removal lorry to manoeuvre.
9. Do you take card payments?
We have the facility to take cards both over the phone and at point of sale. There is a small additional charge for credit cards to cover our costs
We are now settling and its very nice to have some more of our books & memories around us. We really appreciated all your help, and would thoroughly recommend Valley to all & sundry.
10. Are your units outside?
The majority of our units are inside buildings with lights and ample corridors. Some people prefer our outside containers which are of ISO specifications. All our outside containers have a layer of Graffo-therm anti-condensation coating.
